Well Farmer hired me as his camera man for two hours tonight.

WOW! No wind and just down right peaceful near the dam as the sun was setting. I haven’t been on the river since December. It was far too long.

Going up stream I noticed the higher then what its been water. It was into the trees and I wondered what kind of fish were in there spawning or feeding in there.

Spring, the start of a new cycle of life.

We passed three boats on the way to our first stop. All had smiles and waved. Yep, good to be on the water again!

I’m not going to go into great detail as the In-Depth Outdoor Sunday TV show, Jakob and Ryan’s reports did a very good job at that. We just did what they were doing.

It wasn’t too long and Farmer had the first nice white tail to the boat. Her belly was fat.

We pitched for another 45 minutes and Farmer set the hook again with a little larger fish. (first photo).

I guess Farmer said it was a little slow tonight but anytime a person can go out and within two hour boat a couple fish like these, well I would like to see it when the bite is good!!

They say Pool 4 fishermen are spoiled. Hmmm.

Either way, it was a beautiful evening to be on the water and there’s more beautiful to come!

Thanks for allowing me to be your photographer tonight Farmer!
