Half Moon Landing?

    Anyone been launching from the new & improved landing yet, is it open? Boated down from Alma the other day to check it out – looks great!

    The ramps on 5 are open. I think you’re referring to the newly remodeled west newton ramp. I saw a few rigs using it on Sunday.

    I don’t think its’s officially open yet. However I did use it yesterday and its nice but its not good for higher water. I you choose to use it in the next week you’d better bring your hip boots and a buddy!!!! Watch out as the shoreline is now a riprapped BUT it under water right now. The dock is not in either…..

    Thanks for the heads up on the riprap area. Last years high water was a challenge too. If I remember right – the dock was 30-50′ away from the landing!!

    Any fishing reports from the dam area, or down?
