I had the chance to spend 3 days down at Redwing and Pool 4 this week. We looked for the bigger females and boy did we find them. Pitching Plastic and Blade Baits was the ticket. Color didn’t seem to matter much but the profile of the plastic and the water depth/location to structure.

Ended up getting around 50 fish total, 7 fish over 25 inchs and 3 being over 28 inchs and over. Also caught my new PB which was a 29 inch, 18.5 inch girth. Wish my lower unit didn’t go out on my boat so I could have had my scale to get a weight.

With the weather getting warmer and the water temp/flow coming up the bite should just get better! Hopefully I will get to get back out before I go back to work on Monday!

All fish were released to swim another day!

    Good Luck out there!

    Thanks for sharing!

When you were using blades, how were you presenting them?

HA funny I was thinking the same thing. I have buddies and a father in law that will take pictures like that. Which is fine but don’t have me smile first!

Along with how the blades were presented and what color and weight jig you were using, think you could just let us know your gps coordinates? Nice fish man.

correct me if im wrong but isn’t this a fishing website??? he asked a simple question and wether or not the poster chooses to respond is there business. No need to be a jerk about it!

Either way those are some dandy eyes way to go!
