A buddy and I fished Pool 4 on Sunday. Lauched from Everts. 7am til 2pm. Boated maybe 15 fish total. most were on the small side. It looked to be slow for most.
    Absolutly a beautiful Day!!!

I’m thinking Pepin needs to open up before the fishing improves. shouldn’t be long with this kind of weather.

I’m heading down tomorrow. Getting a late start though. Hope the fish cooperate for us.

Sunday was a bit slow for us to. Ended up with 4 and a few pike. Spent most of the time pitching or dragging. Sure was a nice day out and it was great getting to check out some spots I hadnt fished down there in a while. The amount of boats at the Y was nuts.

If you are coming down from the north side of town Vados has shiners and rainbows. Those bigger rainbows have been working well for my boat.

I got my wife to go along yesterday late afternoon. Fish were in more current than I usually fish and deeper in 15-20 fow. Orange or pink jigs worked the best. We ditched the Dubuque rigs as only small fish seemed to hit them. She likes my new Skeeter. Good thing the fish cooperated. I could have lost her (the boat).
