Mondays bite was pretty close to sundays for us. Strong wind limited the pitching so spent more time dragging jigs. Slow dragging pulsars, moxies and blades all found walleyes. Slower the better. Second boat did well on saugers pulling stickbaits on three ways. Snow and wind yesterday. Just plain cold today. Cabin is warm and two more days of fishing to go so cant complain.

Not realy. Been trying to get in with enough daylight to clean fish and get the boat tucked away.

I was out there today. Holy crap was it cold and windy. Only could manage three fish today. Going to head down again tomorrow and give another go.

Just barely crawling the boat up river just holding the jigs still. Was brutal out today. Spent most of it in the cabin. Wind layed down towards evening and we got on a few fish.

Mike how did you guys do yesterday? We did much better than on Tuesday. The bite was good until the sun came out from behind the clouds. Then the bite died, and that with the high winds made boat control fun in the afternoon.

The plan was to go back to pool 2 for a little hog hunting Wednesday. Got up there and it was a wind tunnel blowing up the river. Had two days of that all ready so just kept on home to get caught up on work be able to fish another day.

Was happy with the bite on our quick trip down to Everts. Didnt slay them by any means but caught plenty for a couple of fish frys and a few to take home. The weather stunk but it was still good sitting around the cabin BSing and watching the going ons around the resort. Nice little vacation.

Might have to pick a nice day next week and give it another try.
