I would like to extend a huge thank you to Everetts resort and BK for their awesome customer service and hospitality.

While I was at an extended stay for my wifes treatment at the Mayo one phone call to them about wanting to get a stress free day on the water and it was not very long and I have several calls from people that were willing to take me in their boat on the open water for a day off stress free visiting and fun fishing on a gorgeous day yesterday.

A huge thank you to Gordy for taking me out fishing and Pete for offering his boat for fishing and Tim for offering his boat for fishing.

If you ever have any doubt in humanity this once again proves there are still really good people out there!!

You’ll find many generous folks here.

I’ve never heard of Everets or Everetts. Is that anywhere near Everts?

Glad to hear you had some help to get out and relax.

Ryan, for years I thought it was Everett’s and I thought Brian had a speech impediment.

I fully understand the stress your under and what a day like that can do for your spirits. I’ve had one of the most stressful years of my life and many of the guys here on IDO go a long ways to help me out. Hard to find a better group of people

    Correction…

    “Meet me at Everts’ at…”

That was always a gut buster when I didn’t show up.

    Rusty,
Glad to hear you were able to get out on the water.

It’s always a good time, fishing can get slow, but the beauty of the area and hundreds of Eagles IS always a good day.
Hope your wife is doing better.

We took home two keepers. Nice fish, missed several fish. Not to bad for first time.

The Eagles all over was a cool and relaxing view with sound. Could not have planed a better day. Maybe I can make it back over to Evert’s before we head home next Wed or Thur.

Thanks all for the best wishes.

And yes I am a cat guy but I crave the catch of anything that swims.

prosupermag, right about now I’m thinking the channel cats of the Zumbro are calling Rusty’s name.

I got a note from a friend yesterday saying that he had just connected with a nice Lake Zumbro cat…note sent from the ice. He was on foot.

Decent bite yesterday after the chili cook off. 8 nice eyes pitching pulsars to the rocks and worked slow back to the boat. Back at it again today

    Yes sir.
Careful guys, thin ice on the shorelines, 12″ of ice or less in the main channel where i drilled. Up to 32″ of ice off the current.

    Iced a nice 28″
