Just came back from there. Wouldn’t have believed it but it has opened up a lot. Boat ramp is still iced in but ice has started pulling away from shore. Ice out about 25 yards and rest was wide open. Just drove in there too check as I was going to ice fish there tomorrow. Talked to some guys Sat. that were ice fishing out there and they said 2 and a half feet of ice. They have opened a couple rollers that were down Sat. Hopefully it’s all out in a couple days.

The flow out of the Red Wing dam jumped from the steady winter flow of 8,000 cps to 12,500 cfs almost over night.

It’s not a lot but it’s going to start raising cane with the Pepin ice.
