pool 4 warning!!!!

Attention all boaters lots of very large ice chunks were floating down river today some were 30’x30′ and 4-8inchs thick they are like hitting a brick wall so be carefull out there especially at night they are very hard to see!

No, it won’t. There were people in the scour all day long today. I’m sure they got sick of us laughing at them catching eagle feed.

Any update on the ice chunks and water clarity?

Can anyone give a update on ice chunks and water clarity?

I guess I can’t talk about clarity because I fished at night but the water was up a bit since last weekend. There were some nasty chunks coming down intermittently on Thursday night. Nasty, like 4ftx4ft by 8 inches. Not a lot of them but enough to keep my moving slow with head on a swivel. I saw a few get caught but slow for me and the boats around me.

With the temps (making ice) and a clear of ice Pool 3 (except backwaters) we won’t be seeing ice for the next few days.

HOWEVER that doesn’t mean we don’t have to be on the lookout.

The clarity is half of what it was a week ago.
Ramps are open.
