Here’s some photos from March 7th to current….

Stop into the bait shop for current hot bait suggestions, but so far there hasn’t been anything that’s working the best. Reports daily are a mixture of plastics, blades pitched, jig and minnow, Lindy rigging, pencil weigh and a phelps floater. All have been taking fish at some point through out the day and evening.

Please remember when fishing water over 25 feet it doesn’t matter how slow we reel in the fish, more then likely they will die. Keep what you catch is the best advise.

Don’t forget to check your boat registration. I know a fella that received a photo of his boat and a warning ticket in the mail. It was a new boat and didn’t have his number displayed yet.

FYI The last photo is a 28 inch Brown Trout caught above Everts by Kevin Kurtzweil.

Yep you nailed it ! I heard you can still catch em on a slip sinker and a floating jig head with a minnow, ya i guess it still works, got this tip from a homeboy, said it be ok to pass it on only because it beat the slip sinker and a chart or orange hook, one might try goin back to basics

Time is now and the bite has been fun! You know its good when you throw one in the box and all you hear is a thud because there stacked above the water!
