Took my lumps yesterday but all was not total failure. Its always good when a guy can take some home with him even if its just knowledge.

We got a really really late start yesterday day.

Had to take care of some minor issues with the honda 4stroke in which I thought were major..then wait on partner to hand off some jobs of his so he could fish with…all said and done on the water at 2pm..

Linked up with “Wade” as he was fishing and was giving me updates via texting as I was on the road..”great to see ya again bud…its been a while any how the wind had picked up and boat control was tough for the rebel 1650 and I.

Fish a very short time at the dam..guys were picking up saugs in the scour hole on minnas ..eagles ate good

Push down stream to the “Y” all the way to haycreek.. from there we decide to turn our outing into a recon..looked at areas all the way down to the can lines before the ice chunks got bigger..arrived back at “Everts” armed with some knowledge from my recon..we chatted with “Kari” for about half an hour and this is were I learned some priceless tidbits..

So this is my butt whooping report that shall pay big in the near future

Good luck next time out. We all have taken some good butt whoopings, least what I tell myself to sleep better.

Good to hear you boat issues were minor

As far as the fishing part … thats why they call it “fishing” my friend. I am sure with the new intell you will make your next trip a “catching” adventure
