Fishing Red Wing this weekend

    I was wondering how the fishing has been this week at Pool 4. I am heading up Saturday morning and wondering what to expect and what has been working. Thanks in advance for all your help.

    Pool 4 has been pretty steady producing some nice male Saugers.Early and late have been best for me.Last weekend my best bite came from ringworms on 1/4oz jigs.I found fish relating to shelves right along deep drops.I also boated two nice 17″ male walleyes,so that’s a good sign as well.Also,there have been a lot of reports of nice fish being boated along the shallows near wingdams.Don’t be afraid to fish away from the crowd at the dam as the action below is good as well.If your gonna fish below the dam,better leave your boat bumpers hangin out!

    Thanks for the info Riveratt. I’ll make sure I don’t shower for a while and maybe we’ll get some room to fish at the dam.

    LOL@stir66!! If that’s your tactic, you can also rub your bait or lure in a more “aromically challenged” area and see how lively the channel cats are as well!! LOL!
