You are going to have to fight through the eagle watchers to get over there. And it won’t be holding many fish since they are bubbling the crap out of the small lock.. but I guess its worth a shot. You’ll need 3/8 or 1/2oz to fish up in the current, or you can stand in the middle of the eagle watchers and fish the slacker water.
Watch out for the guy launching sheepshead with a sling shot, he gets pissed if you fish by him and ruin their camera shots.
You’d have a better chance of catching a fish down below 15 if there isnt too much ice around shore. You can reach the wintering saugers on a long cast. They should be stacked in there with there being no fishing pressure for 2 months.
