Anyone been checking the ramps lately? Would guess they are still locked in, Warmer temps next week may change that in a hurry. If anyone has a recent photo from the ramp it would be great to see that. Been to long with out fishing pool 2.
The whole river is frozen over as far as I could see crossing the 494 bridge on Friday. Same thing at 35E, as expected. 
Pool 2 open and people slaying them would make being back in Williston that much harder to take. Hopefully be back for a few days this March!
Tonight there was a very small sliver of open water both above and below the bridge. I drive down to the 494 ramp once a week just to dream a little. I remember last year I snuck out on Valentine’s day with a buddy and we caught a few 7lbers. Had the river all to ourselves cause nobody knew it had opened up. It closed a few days later
The river sure does not thaw anything close to the rate a lake does. It can be froze shore to shore one day and wide open the next. Not sure if the temps this week will do that but they sure cant hurt. Thanks for the up dates.
