I was out on saturday and was suprized to see only 2 other boats all day. The first 2 hours we tried dragging and only got 1 19″ eye. When we switched to verticle jigging it picked up to 3-4 fish every 100 yards. I actually wouldn’t mind another couple months of the cold to keep the boat traffic down so there is more room for me!

Just got the word this afternoon I’ll be down to check to the minnows this weekend.

I am a little miffed at ma nature. I figured I could get out once this winter to take out my hatred on those slimy walleyes. Every time we had something lined up it was -20.

I know, I know….velveeta goes good with my cheap whine.

See ya guys on Saturday or Sunday….or both!

Yep. That 10 day forecast is looking pretty good. 35 degrees on thursday this week should be a heat wave.

I plan on trying the same thing on a section of the Wi river between Petenwell and Castle Rock. What exactly were you using on the end of your line? Thanks.

Denver posted a photo to FB this morning after an hour of fishing. His client and Denver were holding dinner of 4 nice saugdogs.

Best looking photo I’ve seen in 41 days.

So what did these spectacular saugers bite on, or is this the best kept secret on P4.
