Blade bait colors

    Hypothetical question…You only get to take a few blade colors with you to fish the spring run… What are your top three or four?

    Define “few”

    “too many” is more than will fit in my tackle box,,,,
    “few” is an amount just shy of “too many”

    Do you powder coat or air brush? I have a hard time keeping paint on blades.

    Blades are a big part of my early/late season walleye/sauger
    strategy. I’m with Dean on this because every time out there one color seems to be “hot”. So I carry those basic colors with some shade variations.
