was out on the lake at about noonish on the 4th. There was tons of boat traffic but plenty of fish to be caught. we were dragging leeches in about 6′ of water. did well as long as we weren’t banging off the rocks ended up keeping 5 eyes between 17″ and 20″ let go a 24″. only stayed until 4. On monday the lake was beautiful. Barely any boats and not much wind got there at 7 and had great action until 9 dragging leeches again. boat traffic picked up and the fish shut off on leeches. Switched it up and went to casting cranks on shallow shallow sand flats with nearby deep water. picked up a fish here and there the rest of the day. the picture is from mon. also let a 26″ go and didnt have the digital camera with . Also a guy i know was down there and let a 28″ and a 28 1/2″ go. Great days of fishing lately

Looks familiar. Crossin Eye’s and had the same luck dragging cranks on the 4th. Starting fishing at about 0730 until 11:30. Fishing never slowed down. Actually seemed to pick up as the morning progressed. Hot depth was 9-13 feet.

we seemed to get one about every 20 to 30 mins after the boat traffic picked up. But when the boat traffic picked up the fished moved shallower.
