    The ramps are open!
A bit of ice is floating down river so just be careful out there.
and remember the #1 rule of winter boating etiquette ….drain your trailer at the rivers edge….
    Thank You

#1 rule is to wear a pfd. Without one you have less then 10 minutes to get out of the water.

#2 rule is to check in at the bait shop to see what’s up.

#3 rule is to drain the trailer at the waters edge so you don’t fall on your kester when you’re loading your boat.

#4 rule is to drain your trailer when you’re loading your boat so the next fisherman doesn’t fall on his keaster when he uses the ramp.

#5 rule is to check in at the bait shop to show some pictures!

#6 rule is to also wear your motor kill switch if you are unfortunate enough to hit a submerged log or an ice chunk this time of the year.

    Totally what KWP said!

Now is not the time to see how fast your boat can go.
Take your time going up to the Y or dam area if that’s the way you’re heading.

Just the other day a fella that’s a P-4 regular asked me when that cabin on the MN side was put in?

You mean the Cabin on the Stilts?

    Yeah, that one.

By taking your time you’ll be surprised what you’ve passed by in the past.

Went out this morning 10ish. Got my limit by 1:30pm, actually 5 1/2(one smaller sauger) rest were nice. 16-17″ 2 walleyes and the rest sauger. Thanks Everts for the hard work on the ramps. White moxie was the ticket today!
