    Fish counter.

For those days when you run out of fingers…or are like Jeff Huberty that uses his toes but can’t get his boots off fast enough.

Brian, not to sound stupid but I asked the Grand PooBaa and even he doesn’t know what a fish counter is, what is it? How many fish were lost? because even I can keep track of the ones I’ve caught Lol!

I think this is the guys in the boardroom on a slow day. “I wonder if people will buy a fish counter?….”

The fish counter is a necessity when a person boats (and releases) more fish then they can keep track of.

I never heard of this being used before until I met some of the guys on Pool 4 that hook into 20, 30, 40, 50 or more fish per day.

Off the top of my head, Kerry Harvey and Vandy both use them as they’ve had 80 fish days using the fish counter.

Then there’s people like Pug that just need a counter that goes up to 1…just in case. He’s an optimist.

Fish counter for all people who can’t count. What I suppose you found one in the bait shop and are trying to get rid of it. Throwing Vandy’s name in there not fair. I know Greg can count.

PS Note to Steve at Everts: Charge Chirp extra for his launch…oh never mind. He’s a golfer.

Must be a pretty slow morning in the bait shop, if you have time to fart around with this bs.

    Yeah,
but to make things more complicated,
You not only want to know that you boated 85 fish today,
you want to know how many were keepable (17)
how many were real nice, above 19″
how many were 11-12 (future of fishery)
how many were little. (far future of fishery)
keeping track of the little guys,
you can forecast when to come back using growth rates.

Alot of the meat hog panfisherman use them in my area. They dont want to take more than their daily limit. But dont care about going every day till the lake is fished out.

Eyecatcher, we only have two in stock!

Looks like we’ll have to start selling sets of four.

I need one of those for next year. Biggest day (3 hours) for me this year was 165 white bass. Gets tough to keep track when you are pulling them in 2 at a time left and right.
