Besides that it always pays just to get on the water…I’ll ask the question again.

Does it pay to pre fish for the Saugerama?

Sure looks like the walleye bite has kicked in!

Yep, it helped me clear a few walleyes out of the way for Saturday.

I sure think it did. As tough as it was, if we didn’t have a sport dialed in specifically, we probably wouldn’t have been able to place.

I think a day of pre-fishing is good. It gives you a chance to see what the water is like and to run through your equipment and make sure everything is working. Hopefully establish a pattern. Or eliminate a few. I certainly wouldn’t spend a week doing it.

I don’t know if it helped maybe it did, but it got me to get off of work and fish and find maybe some spots that could help. So I enjoyed it. Also want to thank the people that gave me great pointers in fishing this area.

A day of fishing is a day of fishing so it has to help Of course I caught better fish the day before the tournanament and the day after than I did on Saturday but that is how it usually goes. It is a good thing my partner carries me on the rough bites

Of course it pays. Gave me another day off work and more time to drink beer with friends. We put a 28″ walleye in the boat pre-fishing so that was worth it. As far as getting a sauger bite dialed in, yes it helped eliminate a lot of spots that weren’t holding fish.
