Gobi

I was studying some color plates at a couple tackle sites this morning and found this Gobi pattern. Its not bad as it sits but if I do any others I’ll make the belly color less silver and add just a breathe of yellow to it. Then I’d add a bit of gold glitter to the back color.

The dark smoke lateral line is in there but hard to see with the light.

These guys are destined for a day at Alma come the end of the month.

Very cool…. sure beats anything off the shelf! If you need an average guy for product testing, sure myself and plenty of others would stand in line.

Personally Tom, I think the color is off a little. I’m working with two different companies right now on each a crank and a plastic series. The pics are from Erie and Lake MI/Dr County. The dark to gold phase changes pending if the are on alge covered rocks, sand, ….

I don’t care who says what…I will be glad to test out a dozen of each of the 2 bottom ones

Our local Walleyes love that color

I’m not sure I want to try and mimic anything as ugly as they are in real life Randy.
