Well just got in from another fine day on the river. Lately We have been concentrating on main channel areas. We are targeting current breaks just off the main channels and especially inside bends. This week the high water seemed to have the fish right up on the banks and they were completely stacked up, pulling 3 ways with jointed Raps and plastics were unstopable, with most of the fish hitting the plastics. Walleye assasins, K-grubs, Sassy grubs were hot. Today most of the fish prefered the plug and we noticed that the fish seemed to have shifted to deeper water. The water level is dropping fast and the gates are completely shut so the fish are adjusting and I believe are ready to move out to the wing dams and back water areas. Today we boated around 40 fish with most fish being 15-21 “. We are having a Fathers Day family fish fry with this nice 2 man limit of 15-18” walleys. Till next time tight lines.
