Donald Zimmerman from Milwaukee caught and released a 30″ 12 lb. [fat] wally while fishing with killer jigs off the fishing float below the Alma dam this morning. Mark one for the non boaters. I talked to Fireflick and he said he got some nice fish. I’m sure he’ll give a full report tonight.

There is no doubt in my mind,if you want consistant, quality fishing below the dam, leave the boat on the trailer and get on the float.I’m not sure why,but it just flat produces year in and year out.Plus, for those who havent fished on the float there,it is an experience all in itself.Tim and Jim do a great job keeping things fun,and the food is dang good too.

its been years since I was “float” fishing…… I used to be a lynxville regular…. and it was great… comraderie, good fishing….. and you can run in for some chow and warm up!… I wish there was someplace at redwing I could jump on for a burger right on the water….. and maybe do some fishing from……

I just got a report of a 11 lb. 8 oz. Walleye caught at Genoa…

This guy has decided to put his fish on the wall.

it’s a good thing somebody could catch at least one huge fish, yeah my buddy and i talked to jim, been really slow but starting to pick up out there, if you plan on catching fish on pool 5 plan on being there for a while, i think these fish just want you to take your time, they don’t want to get you too excited, AKA fishing is really slow, and this weather doesn’t help
