Super Doos not necessarily new?

    First time posting, long time river guy and Walleye Searcher. Been following all the Super Doo hype when the light went on. I’m wondering if anyone recalls back in the late 80’s when Mister Twister came out with the Octopus jig? I believe Harry Stiles won the MWC in Red Wing using these proto-type plastic baits. They were hot for a couple years than vanished. To me they resemble the Super Doo. I still have a pile of them stashed in the old tackle bag I’ll be cracking out for a try. Did anyone have luck with these in years past?
