Decided to make a quick after work P2 trip because it has been a while since I fished P2. I wanted to see if the river changed from the high water and I also wanted to see how my motor upgrade ran on the river.
The winds and cold made it pretty tough for us. We tried our favorite trolling run without any success. Next, we tried casting crankbaits along current breaks and we finally hooked up.
Fishing was a little slow for us…But the winds, cold front, and being away from the river so long may also had something to do with it.
Still a fun evening to enjoy the river. Did notice some WD’s with full size tress laying across them. Wonder if they will be there the rest of the yr??
