Today was my first experience with Super Doos on the River (fished with James and my son Charlie) and team….everything I have read here, and have been told by the FTR team is TRUE!!! These things are awesome and as for needing stingers…not a chance in the world! These fish just cracked those things and inhaled them. More than half our fish needed pliers to get the hook out because it was stuck in the roof of their mouth waaaaaay back there, with not a single lip hooked fish. They wanted that bait and they wanted it badly. Our hot color was lime green and chartreuse with pepper. In addition to their fish catching abilities, I was impressed with the toughness of the super doo body. We too, did not boat a single legal walleye but a steady bite of sauger made for a great day from 7am until late afternoon. No minnows, no finicky taps….just lots of “POW”…another one on the line. I’m gonna gear up with lots more of these things….they are really fabulous baits. Trust these guys that tell us about them on FTR…..and to top it off, fishing couldn’t have been easier. Zip off line to find the bottom, up 6 inches, hold steady and……the rest was action all day long. THANKS JAMES…for a GREAT DAY.
