Four of us went out today, and we had four limits in about three hours. All 2-3 pounds the biggest almost 4.

We only caught 1 fish with the ring worms??? Is there a trick to it or what? We caught our fish jigging with a plain jig and a minnow and a few three way.

Let me guess. All piggie saugers with big bellies caught in 16-22 feet of water. Refer to James latest report where he says the big saugs can be caught on anything right now.

No tricks. Ring worms are just like any other bait. The fish ultimately decide what they want. But day in and day out, Im glad I have them in my boat!

Hi; Our best bite was on plastic, sliders, shad bodiesand ring worms. All small fish were caught on live bait,up at the y and down at the teepee. We caught a lot of fish but were shy of our limit on 15 plus keepers .But was a good day fishing.

I imagine i’ll have to get up fairly early on saturday…..Probably be out and about by 5:00 or 5:15. I have a hunch it may be a tad bit busy. And yes, I do have a good supply of minnows and crawlers.

Going to play hookie today and go fishing. Fridays are a good time to beat at least some of the traffic. I’ll be heading your way, Steve, and hope to find a couple of decent walleyes later this evening. Looking forward to the day!

Fooled you I think….mudlnthru…..I would say there was more than a few boats on the river today. Unfortunately for you, you didn’t avoid the crowds. Bet you had fun though. lots of fish being caught.

Yeah, Steve. I was entry number 77 from your landing today. Nice weather, but the fishing did slow down in the afternoon. I took some time and wandered downstream, just looking and dropping a line once in awhile. Lots of fish on the finder but not a lot of flailing nets!

Thor, Everts is on the Wisconsin side and about a mile below the Y on pool 4. Directions are up at the top on the banner ad. Just click on it and you’ll find the address/location. Best spot on the river to put in and you have access to the Wisconsin channel, Lock and Dam number 3 and all the best fishing in 4 right now. Just be careful that you don’t step into the wrong boat. There were about a gillion there today.

yeah it sounded like a lot of limits were taken before noon….. just my luck we started fishing AFTER noon… and for sure there were NOT many nets out….. and fishing seemed slow for everyone in the afternoon…. around 3 pm it picked up briskly for us…..
