    We were out there today. Had some decent legals, but the bite was definitely better earlier than later.

    No smallies today. Was targeting eyes. 1 17 inch and a few shorts.

    And yup. Beats workin!

    My buddy and I have each been out this week and we both did well. Caught a few 15+ inch smallies on a jig and a worm

    The dog and i found a solid bite on the north end. long lining in 11′-13′ fow with 170′ of line out.The typical rap colors didnt work well. # 7 clown color put most fish in the boat. Had a big pike hit along the boat side when i was reeling up. Had of been 10lbs+!!!! That was awesome!

    Kicked my butt too. Although it was fun catching all the sheep head. Targeted same feet of water. Didn’t stay out very long. Oh well was nice to be on the water and had to take off the new IDO hoodie it got warm!!!

    Was out on Pepin from 9am to 1 on Friday and caught 4 eye’s (3 shorts, one keeper) and about a dozen or so white bass.

    Perch was #1 color, firetiger a distant second and we trolled 9-12ft.

    Only problem was having to weave around all the other boats out there
