I was out 1 1/2 weeks ago and caught a few nicer fish, no numbers. I saw several boats on the water by the confluence on my way home from work tonight. Maybe someone else has more current info.

I caught all my fish at the dam. Spent a lot of time checking spots from the dam to the confluence and could find any numbers of fish. Things should be getting more predictable in the coming weeks though.

Shouldn’t the spot where the Minnesota meets the Miss be going soon?

I spent last night up by the confluence area. Boated a couple walleyes 17″ and a 20″ and had a couple more bites. Saw several fish of this caliber caught while I was there. Several boats working this area. Talked to few anglers that had similair luck here.

Also spent some time last night with the camera down. I was just floored at the amount of rough fish that I saw. I literally had 1-4 fish in the camera view at any given time in current break areas. Saw a couple pike and one walleye as well.

Notice the breeze we had last night? I am thoroughly convinced that mother nature knows my fishing schedule and when I go, she always seems to find me. LOL!

Weather looks nice for the weekend!

Fishhead, Kevin and I, fished below the dam and to the confluence Saturday. Not a lot of fish, but those we caught were nice specimens! The smallest went 19 and the largest was 25(real fat)! I caught only one walleye(22 incher) on a 3/8 oz chart tipped with a fatty just up from the confluence in about 10 feet of water.

The rest of the fish were caught on a variet of plastics. From a white Mister Twister to a Black and blue Power bait twister.

I did witness a gentleman, casting what I believe was a shad rap just South of the Island below the dam, catching at least one walleye!

Water temp ranged from 40-42.5 degrees! Man that is some nice water up there! A lot clearer than I ever imagined!!

OH, one jack, white bass and one hooked and lost largemouth were other fish.
