Was just wondering if i could get some info from someone? I pretty new to the area and was going to come up to Lake Pepin on Sunday. With the water level going up I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction where to start looking for some eyes with the higher water levels and help would be appreciated!!
Your best bet right now is to troll crank baits along the rip rap on either side of the lake. The WI side around maple springs and maidon rock are both good areas. If the wind is making for some choppy water troll in 8′ of water or less. If the lake lays calm your best bet is to move out to the 9′ to 15′ depths.
Hope this helps you out. Maybe others who have seen the lake more recently will help as well.
