Pool 4 — The Boy

    Here is a picture the boy sent me yesterday from Pool 4. I don’t have alot of the details other than the Evert’s ramps are in great shape and that even I can make it through the back channel right now This gal was 28 inches and 8.5 pounds post spawn. He did mention something about not forgetting the suntan lotion too—-are we to believe Spring is finally here?

    It was an alright day of fishin… No huge numbers but the quality was better. We or 4 fish taping in at 21, 22, 24.5 and that 28. We hit several spots running and gunning. That fish was actually caught on our way out. Big baits are producing quality fish, I tried fatheads and got nothin. Everts does have mongo(or macho) minnows I can’t remember what they called them but they’re basically a huge fathead…might be worth the money no real pattern other than spot hopping to find the active fish.
