I’m planning on heading down Tues and Wed. With the flow doubling over the weekend I plan on hitting a few new spots. I haven’t heard anything about water clarity but I’m sure it’s way down. Do you guys change it up from jigs and plastics to something else? I’m planning on fishing much shallower then my last trip and found some water I want to try not by the dam.

If I was going I would look for areas with less current and maybe bring some minnow with just incase. Seems pretty common for the spring run off to drop water temps and turn the fish back to a minnow bite.

I was thinking about throwing some trolling rods and rod holders in the boat. What kind of cranks do you pull when using a 3way?

Debris free cranks should work. Debris free anything should work. As long as it won’t collect water-borne debris, use it. Good luck.

are 3ways exclusive or would longline trolling some cranks work as well?

floaters something with a shallow lip rapala, storm, something cheap if its snaggy. Smithwhick and husky jerks work as well, doesn’t have to be a floater.
Yes have long lined also just hard to troll short stretches(100ft-200ft) not as quick to start as three way. It can be addicting so don’t say i didn’t warn you you might end up leaving your jigging rods at home.lol

thats the other reason i like three ways thay collect alot of the debris. Less line out helps with debris also.
