    I hope there will be a few more then just Kari with her mushroom soup!

    Should be an easy win if it’s just something called mushroom chili.

    Sign up here so we know how many crackers to buy. LOL!

    Will be held Sunday March 24th from 11am to 3pm

    Judges ruling at 4pm.

    Bring your BEST Chili Recipe (Venison, Beef, Turkey, Mushrooms…ect.).

    HOT or Mild…All are welcome.

    Side dishes and toppings welcome as well.

    $5 entry fee with a 100% payout

    70% first place 30% for second place.

    Bring your crock pots and see ya there.

    The key is to make it really spicy…So then all the boys are on shore hitting the Jon…Boom…Then we catch the big girls!

    How much are us judges getting payed? I voted we each get 5% of the winnings…….

    a good way to judge a group of chili’s is to have a cup in front of each chili pot/crock pot, hand each judge two dry pinto beans. Istruct them to only put a bean into the two cups which they like the most. At the end of judging the cup with the most pinto beans is the winner. Make sure nobody has names on the pots/crockpots so the tasting is as blind as possible.

    Not going to be much blind chili testing when we already know who puts mushrooms in their chili & who doesn’t.

    After a long winter wait and 6 hr drive…I couldn’t talk da Yoopers into a Chili contest…but I may have to sample Karis wonderful shrooms…

    Chappy, don’t need to worry about BK. I’m pretty sure that Homeland Security has Spam on the “do not use” list. So, unless he begs the FW to cook something up he won’t have a entry into the contest.

    I was just informed the former IDO member Millerman is also throwing his hat in the chili cooking ring,this one will make your eyes water

    Looks like about nine sign ups for the chili contest.

    Most are dropping of the chili in the morning and then fishing until judging time.

    I keeping my Alka Selser bottle close to me.
