Thank you for showing this great and informative video. I am not a walleye fisherman but really enjoyed seeing very experienced guys show and tell how it is done. Well Done.

Headed down there around April 1st instead of Rainy River this year. The video has me all charged up.
When does the bite for bigger fish typically take off.

    Great Video

It will be within a couple weeks when the bigger fish start to show up. Generally the end of march beggining of April is when most all the fish that are coming will be there.

I saw a lot of purple/chart tail on the show.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they make a purple/white tail moxi or pulse r.

Awesome show! Just gotta love the mississippi river. Never get tired of it. Just one of the many special places to fish walleyes and just about anything that swims.

had to go back and watch again.
definitely looks like a purple/white tail moxie at the 8:30 mark in a product demonstration clip.
perhaps a prototype not yet available to the public.

Some things really strike me about James and the crew; they all seem to really enjoy fishing and have a respect for the resource, as well as others using it. That’s rare. The quality of camera angles and video, I bet has the Linder’s paying very close attention. The simplicity in which techniques are not only explained but shown, then edited together, is very easy to understand and seemingly seamless. The honesty, in not only telling where they are, then showing local techniques and areas is refreshing. The production value and quality is impressive. The dialogue stays fun. Some off the best footage out there and leaves us viewers wanting more. Great job putting together a great, enjoyable product!

Correct, it was purple chart. I’ve never seen a purple white tail and don’t know of any plans to produce one. That said, you could make one using plastic glue and tails from white moxies.

This might be the most thoughtful and “dead on” to how we try to go about our business feedback we’ve ever received. For this…. we thank you!

As one of IDO’s cameramen and video editors, thanks basseyes! My goal in editing the shows is finding a balanced mix of education and entertainment. Glad you like what we’ve been doing. – Greg Huff

At 2:24 in the video. Classic Holst facial expression! No acting there. First cast, fish on. What a relief.

I agree these videos are great! I’ve watched this video 6-7 times now. I’m sure I’ll watch it 10 more before launching on Sunday. I’d love a 10+lb walleye pic. I’ve only been on pool four twice before and well my luck wasn’t with me those trips. Maybe my new hoodie will help this time(and a slight clue on presentation now).
