Pool 4

    A buddy and I hit up pool 4 yesterday. The bite was ok. Dragging jigs and holding the baits still about 6″ off the bottom worked the best.

    We kept 5 for a meal and threw the rest back for one you to catch.
    My buddy also caught one for you BK about a 30 lbs flathead and also had a 12 lbs channel cat that came off at the side of the boat.

    Ask Steve about the new baits on the counter. Not sure what the name is but there about 4″ long 1/4″ around and have a little paddle tail on them.

    Nice flat!

    Was the channel further down stream or in that same area?

    That is quite the picture with the cat. Looks like you are going over the side of the boat.
