    Holy moses whooped up the walleye dan dip recipe tonight for the super bowl. Unbelievably delicious. Also found out that boiled walleye dipped in butter competes with the finest lobster. Also put the dip on fish tacos- and that was great as well. Thank you Dan!!!!

    river dans walleye dip

    2lbs of walleye

    1/4 cup seasalt

    1tablespoon garlic powder

    2 habanero peppers-diced

    virgin olive oil

    relish

    olive oil mayonaise

    6 cups water

    2 tablespoons crushed red peppers

    put 6 cups of water in a pot and add 1/4 cup seasalt, add fish and bring to a rolling boil for 4 minuites

    strain out water

    mix fish up in a bowl till they are flaked apart

    put olive oil in the bottom of a frying pan and slowly saute fish, red pepper, garlic powder over medium heat until lightly browned. let cool

    add mayo relish habenaro peppers-stir and enjoy

    I’m going to try it this spring when all we can catch are those big walleye that taste like mud.

    great question!!! I took the seeds out but made an adult pan full bore with the two habeneros and red peppers. Those buggers are hot.

    Fam friendly pan only had garlic powder relish and the olive oil mayo.

    Thank you for the reminder! Everyone loved it.

    Made some with trout for Steve sunday and it turned out great, wasn’t sure it would turn out because trout is oily but worked great!
