Steve’s not going to be happy about this post, but it erks me to no end.
Why do a few people get upset when they are asked (or reminded) politely to drain their boats and trailers before pulling out of the river onto the ramp?
“I’ve been coming here for twenty years!” A person would think they would have it down pat by now right??
“Do you know who I am?” Personally, I wouldn’t care if the guy was Will Farrel, it’s only being courteous the the next guy launching.
Yeah, it’s going to thaw out today, but that cement is cold and it’s freezing in the mornings.
And it would be different if it was last year when we had the parking Nazi down there.
I also understand that people forget. I have forgotten, but going off and making a scene about how self centered a person is sets a bad example for the fishing world.
As a friendly reminder, please drain your trailers prior to pulling up the ramp. When leaving for the day, please drain all water, including your live well prior to heading up to the bait shop.
Ice is slippery and we have some old farts that like to fish…like me.
Thanks for the moment to vent.
To the fella this morning…watch out for the rocks in the back channel.
