anyone check the ice on pepin yet??

    It had 3 foot waves on it Friday evening…..was capped over Saturday morning

    FISHED OUT AT FRONTINAC YESTERDAY.. 3″ ice all the way out.. never caught a fish though!

    I lso fished maple springs area on sunday.. ice was only 1.5″ then and no fish there either..

    Maybe I just dont know how to fish . who knows

    I heard the same on Tuesday about Frontenac. Didn’t see anyone, but with this cold stretch, it shouldn’t be long.

    anyone check the ice depth since the cold spell this past week?? hopeing to make the trip soon and would like to know if we can walk out yet. thank you

    5-6 inches today. Fishing was slow…..White Bass were biting at least.

    Thanks Ozzy, i was also out this morning. dead sea for everyone the way it sounded. Also managed a couple of white bass.

    can or is anyone going out from maiden rock and taking 4 wheelers out yet?? how far up can you get?

    You can get out about as far as one would dare in a normal year down there. Be carefull and check often. Low flow is helping with ice but not the bite from what I’ve noticed.

    sounds like striped bass bite only now eh?? whats up with that?? love to know if you can get out from maiden rock side and up river from there?? i might have to make a run down and see

    Yes you can….similiar results to frontenac…..slow

    they taking 4 wheelers up there too?? whats up with the bite?? low water causeing this?? looks like they are saying cold weather after this week-cold cold like -20–thats weather men talking too now!! lol–thanks for info
