I just spent a few days on pool 4 with some good buddies, and fellow IDO’ers wingdam1 and ajw1975. We had a great time, even though the fishing was just a little tougher than normal. The night pitching bite was solid for us with many nice eyes coming to the boat, they were hitting ringworms pitched to rock. Purple chart. tail, pro blue ,shadcracker, and purple cracker all caught fish. The vertical bite was a little spotty for us , we caught plenty of fish. The size was just a little smaller than normal for November. With the warm temps the smallies were still very cooperative, so that was a bonus. All in all it was a good trip. The weather was way to nice for November, I think that is keeping a lot of the fish down in the lake. I guess I’m use to freezing my tail off on this trip. Here is a pic of one of the day caught walleyes. I can’t wait to do it again next year !
