For you guys that got out in that warm weather Saturday night how windy did it get out there. Was just listening that there was some tornado’s in that area last weekend. Talked to one guy at the landing that said he had a heck of a time loading up the boat due to the wind.

Thank goodness! By your title I thought you were predicting the end of the season!!

I need to get that deer and then get back out there.

Light winds for the most part … we did leave around 9pm or so though…thought the big front that was moving in from the west was moving faster than it was so we bolted a bit early.

I can imagine it wasn’t too fun for the guys who stuck it out and had to deal with the wind and rain that finally arrived…

Season has been extended boys/girls and don’t rule out the upper end of the pool!…

It had been dead calm and the bite was slow. Then the wind suddenly came up, and we saw three boats head straight for the ramp. At the same time the fish turned on and we whaled half a dozen fish in 10 minutes. Got a good laugh at the people who got scared off by a little breeze

Yeah, I was kind of surprised more people didn’t head in when the lighting that appeared to be hitting downtown St Paul earlier in the evening arrived.

Of course at that point everbody was clinging to the nearest Dam and just happy to be fishing … but it was serious lighting.
