Just a couple days ago, a bonus chance to get out on the river presented itself. An old friend called & invited me to hop in with him for a couple hrs.

I had great confidence as the bite had been very good as of late and the weather had every reason for continuing that trend. Long story short,we got a butt kickin !

Although a few folks hand em dialed, I was a bit late in my adjustments being old & stubborn. Regardless, a few found their way for a quick visit to the boat. Note to self, make adjustments sooner!

Although the fishing wasnt anything special, it was awesome to visit with friends and spend some time in the boat with an old friend….

We were on P4 earlier in the day Saturday (must’ve just missed you). It was definitely a tough bite with a few decent eyes pitching and a slow vertical bite. Sounds like it’s been pretty hit or miss from one day to the next.

Last week, the day I broke my Legend Extreme, was a fantasic day for catching walleyes. Yesterday was a different story. The first two hours produced a 19 1/2, a 17 1/2, a 17 and a 16 in. walleye. That was about it for the day.
