Hooky Day Wednesday

Steve. Just wanted to say thank you again for your insight when I stopped in to the shop.

Was out yesterday. Fished from about 11am until about 3pm. Had a good time. Spent most of the time in the locations you suggested. One location didn’t work out for me. (And I’m sure it was me not that fish weren’t there)

Ended up with a limit of walleyes. Also caught pike (still swimming) of which one was fat like a largemouth bass. Mixed in was a bunch of smallmouth and a crappie. Fun day on the water and perfect weather.

I think I used up all the 1/4 ounce jigs I bought. Both silver and gold glitter put walleyes in the boat. Plastics that caught fish were, Purple-chart, purplecracker and greencore (put this on on when the sun tried to peek through the clouds for about 30 minutes).

    Thanks for the pointers!

I was thinking of going down to Everts tomorrow because of the eye bite. Need some bait for spring.

Sounds like you had an enjoyable time and this weekend is going to be totally awesome weather wise…if the drizzle holds out.

BTW Bryan, you spell your name funny.
