Stopped by my spot under the wabasha bridge downtown tonight, put on the new X-rap and threw that baby out there with a slow retrieve and bam this smaller chunky eye hit it hard although it was the only one i missed probally a bigger one right after in about the same spot sunset seems to be the right time to be out there lately! So far all varietys of bait have been working for me X-raps, soft baits like b-fshn, powerbait leeches, and my strike king cranks. Good 30 minute fishing trip!
By the way when do the smallies feed during this late run into winter, and what are they hitting on! Also are they shallow feeders or do they stay deep this time of year!
