Sunday I made a trip up to Everts to meet a guy and do a little fishing but it didnt work out as planned, So I sat around the baitshop listening to the fishing stories and chatted with Bucktail Wayne and his wife,I was keeping my ears wide open for any gossip as to how the fishing was going and what they used.
Saw a really sweet stringer of walleyes come in, they were some beauties
After Steve closed Everts he offered an open seat in his boat so we made a night trip out, we didnt find the big ones but we did get on some nice sauger, I managed to bring home a meal of them for mamma and the kids.
Plastics with chartreuse tail was the go to for plastics and Hunter green for hair jigs both in 1/8 oz.
I really just wanted to thank Steve for offering the open seat, I am happy to have shared your boat with you.
