We got to visit Good Ole Pool 4 this past weekend. Met Annie my sister inlaw from Grand Rapids,Mn for a little Walleye fishing. Had a good trip with some nice fish !! A nice 28″ and a 26″ pictured both pitchin’ plastics. Got a twin to the 26″ plus some smaller all released. Managed to fool a few real nice crappie also. Sauger bite for us was real good on Thurs. then got tougher the last 2 days pulling lead. We’ll be back Wed.!!!!

Heading up to Everts on the 26th with Bro-in-law and nephew from Chi-town, so good to see what I hope is the beginning of a good bite.
Definitely got them in the river Z-Man !! On rock the 28 was in about 6′ of water and the 26’s were out in about 8-10. Actually the pic of the bigger fish was just down from Covill Park. I had to wait for the girls to get done at the Art Festival so they could take the pic

Right behind the IA guys. 
That’s the only reason I bring my IL relatives up with me on the Pool 4 trips, other than the fact that they bring all the good Polish beer, deli goods, and Ponchki.
Now if I can only teach them to fillet and cook fish, I’d have it made.
