Upper Pool 4 Report

I’m seeing more walleye heads in the fish cleaning house at Everts.

Everts Camper Bud, caught 10 yesterday. Not sure of the sizes.

The bite must be picking up in the river. Anyone else seeing this? I’m going to troll around with stick baits tonight for a couple hours before evolving back in to a cat guy.

That reminds me. Stopped into the bait shop this morning. Kari was selling Draggon Jigs and No Roll sinkers to the guys in Cabin #4!!

Must be a “down South” trick.

I think I will give the Dubuque rig a try tonight I’ll let u know how that does bk

I’ve been hearing that’s been picking up some scaly fish. I’ll stop over about 2 am and see how you did. LOL!

I’m hitting P4 Sat afternoon. Was going to hit south end but if you have some good intel I would launch out of Everts.

Yeah, I forgot to change the subject line. I didn’t want Pazuki pming me for locations.

I assumed my post would elicit a response from one of my many pals on IDO. I also thought BK and Jesse would be excited to give me a reason to launch out of Everts because I was under the impression they were great proponents of that establishment. Gosh, I guess I could be wrong…. I know where to go on lower and have no problem fishing there.

Nobody has to be scared. The one trip I make there this year wont do any serious damage to the population. Its not like I’m pummeling them while they are trying to spawn.

I dont really like their spot. I hate staring at downtown for a long time..

Just came out of the bait shop from paying my bait bill.

While chomping on a polish sausage, it was great to hear the guys out this morning have some success. Dragging crawlers down stream seemed to be the best presentation in the river.

Heck, I even received a tst message from Jesse asking if I wanted some fish! Wait! I forgot he was at Walmart!!

Dont worry about me. With Grouse hunting opening this weekend I wont be chasing eyes until ice. Oh yea, I have those nice juicy fresh sauger in the fridge for dinner tonight.
