Navionics updates?

    So today I bought a Navionics Platinum West Region today with the hopes of being able to use it out on Fort Peck Reservoir out in Montana. I was told that there were updates online that cover the entire lake but when I went to update the card it keeps telling me “Your chip is read-only, Please unlock and plug it in again.” Does anyone know what you have to do to update the chip?

    Did you slide the safety lock on the side to the SD card to the “unlocked” position?

    I slid it to unlock but still had the same message reading, maybe I’ll try to reboot the program and see if it does the same thing.
