The last few years March can be exceptional for big fish-if you can find them. I would love to have a second line in the boat to cover more ground.

One more thing…anyone know if River Bait on Water St (right down from the launch in Lillydale of 35E) is open? The phone sounds like it is disconnected. I really hope they are not out of business, w/ Minnehaha closing or moving last spring/summer, there in no baitshops with 15 minutes of the Ford dam.

I will be out both Saturday and Sunday night on Pool 2.

PS. Does anyone have any info on the Watergate Marina and its status for this spring? Did they dredge late last fall or are they planning for this spring?
