Spent the afternoon on pool 3 with a couple friends for a little walleye fishing, it was they’re first time walleye fishing and sounds like they had a blast. We spent the afternoon pitching wingdams with jigs and crawlers and cranks. We found the walleye very hungry and willing to bite hard. The first fish is our biggest of the day coming to the boat just 5 minutes after reaching our first spot it was just a hair over 24 inches. We caught several 18-20in and brought home 4 eaters so that they could have a meal. Jig color didnt seem to matter as much a being on the right wingdam, we were pitching 1/4 and 5/16 oz jigs on limit creek smoothies and 8ft3in rods, which I’ve got to say that long rod is amazing pitching rod!

Overall a fun afternoon and I can’t wait to get out again. They had a great time no matter what was pulling on the other end

That channel cat is the perfect eater size, too… although I suppose you tossed it, dincha?

Just ribbing. Looks like you had a blast!
