Finally put my boat in the water since this spring. The boy and I went out of Hoksila around 6am and trolled some WI side shoreline up to about the Rush. Picked up a few eater walleye and lost a couple nicer ones with some head shakes. Also picked up some nice crappie that thought they were hungry. Thru back a half dozen shorts and some sheeps. Jointed #5 and some Flickers. Blue tones was the hot bait and orange was 2nd. Speed was about 2.5 on the gps. Most fish were 13-18fow. Felt good to be out.

STU some of the best bite was 10-noon. We didn’t get a fish until after 8. But maybe we were wasting time getting to the right area. I couldn’t believe how the crappies were smashing those cranks.

Yeah yeah I know. Without a picture it’s just a story. The water temps were so warm the meat just falls off the bones.
