2012 In-Depth Outdoors G2G Fishing Derby June 16th

    At Everts Fishing Resort

    8:30AM to 2:00 PM Saturday June 16th, 2012

    This derby is limited to 29 teams.

    $40 per boat (up to 2 anglers) entry fee.

    Additional anglers will be allowed in a boat at an additional $25 per person.

    Children under the age of 16 are FREE to fish with you, but are not eligible for awards.

    Cash ONLY – pay the entry fee on Saturday morning in the bait shop before 8:00AM ~Bait Shop opens at 6:00AM~ $7. launch fee applies.

    Team captain shall pay for their entire boat and also give the names of all the anglers in boat.

    Take off order will be by random draw

    Walleyes AND Sauger must be at least 15″ with no more than 8 walleye/sauger in the boat at anytime.

    Culling shall NOT be allowed

    Weigh in will be at the main Everts dock from 1:00PM-2:00PM

    Please be back to the dock at Everts by 2:00PM sharp or your boat will be disqualified.

    Payback is 100%

    Along with bragging rights, the following prizes shall be awarded.



    Walleye/Sauger Catagory~

    ~Heaviest bag of 5 walleye/sauger~ – 40% of the money

    ~2nd largest bag of 5 walleye/sauger – 20% of the money

    ~3rd largest bag of 5 walleye/sauger – 10% of the money

    Bret Clark Category

    ~ Heaviest bag of 10 panfish (sunnies, crappies & yellow perch) – 20% of the money

    Jesse Krook Catagory

    ~ Heaviest fresh water drum aka sheephead – 10% of the money

    Each boat may only weigh fish in ONE of the above prize categories.

    Your fish maybe released after weigh in or you could donated them to the In-Depth Outdoor fish fry held just after the awards and Dean Marshall seminar.

    This derby is intended to be fun, please enjoy yourself and meet some of the folks from In-Depth Outdoors!

    AND THERE’S MORE!

    Skeeter Boat Center and Anglers Guide Headquarters is donating a fishing rod to be randomly drawn from all participants of the Fishing Derby!

    FYI, we’re waiting on a couple more details before posting the Official Get 2Gether announcement.

    One item I can share is that Skeeter Boat Center will be there providing a Ride and Drive. Everyone taking a ride will have to opportunity to win a new fishing rod provided by Skeeter Boat Center and Angler’s Guide Headquarters!

    Jesse can catch them bottom feeders just fine
    The trick is to catch them as big a he can….

    Thanks for your response and time. I can count ONLY to 29(Lol)! That’s why I never get older! Not even next Wed., when I’m supposed to be a year older. Thank you for checking.

    Yes sir, just triple check with “Iowa creamed corn” and there are a number of openings….but he couldn’t count…at all.

    We’re sad to report that the Get-Together, schedule to be held June 15 and 16 out of Everts Resort, has been cancelled for the time being. With the high water and projected water levels the beach would be unavailable making it impossible to hold the fishing tournament(s) and Skeeter Ride N Drive. Basically there just wouldn’t be anywhere to safely beach all the boats. So… at least for the time being, we’re going to pull the plug and look for an opportunity to reschedule down the road.

    Sorry everyone. We were looking to spending time with new and old friends alike. Mother nature wins this round. For now.

    Please lend a hand and spread the word so people that had planned to attend can adjust schedules accordingly.
